THE JOB
The Burns Waste Sales Representative provides for the short- and long-term growth of BW revenues through targeted prospecting, business development, communication, relationship building in the Golden Triangle Region. Duties include:
Developing partnerships with commercial and construction clients, businesses, and other relevant constituents.
Acquire new contracts and maintain existing contracts for the collection, transportation, and disposal of construction waste
Evaluate current and future economic trends in the area to proactively position BW for growth meet client expectations and close deals
Develops maximum potential sales volume and profitability within defined territory
Works with company leadership to set activity and sales goals
Ensures customer satisfaction through direct communication and solicitation of feedback
Drives acquisition, retention and renewal of contracts by developing and maintaining critical relationships with customers
Supports existing company staff to deliver highest quality product and experience to customers
Work with Burns Waste Accounts Manager to ensure efficient management of division operations
Work with talent division on training and recruitment efforts for BW
Uses available technology to monitor, track and report sales activity
Accurately forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue sales opportunities
Researches and stays current regarding competitor services and pricing
THE CANDIDATE
The Sales Manager will have to opportunity to contribute to the growth and expansion of a successful new venture. The company is seeking a candidate who possesses:

Well-organized work method, is detail oriented, and can prioritize workloads and meet deadlines
Highly productive and willing to manage a busy work schedule independently
Education: AS/BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or equivalent experience
1-2 years of sales/marketing/business development experience
Developed skills in negotiation, bid responses, contract management, forecasting and reporting
Experience with sales generation, customer interaction, presentation, client interaction, negotiation, account management, forecasting, pricing, and sales closure
Must be prepared for extensive travel within the Golden Triangle region
High degree of autonomy, yet team oriented with ability to work within a larger organization
